Setting your new app as COPPA

To set your new app as COPPA, click on My Apps located on the left-hand menu:

Then, click on Add New App located on the right-hand menu:

Then there are two options:

  • Your app is the Google Play or the iTunes App Store: add the URL of your app to the APP URL field and the remaining App Details will be added automatically;
  • Your app is on a third-party store: you will need to fill in your app name and choose the relevant app platform.

Then, in both cases, click on the COPPA checkbox if your app is COPPA. Please note that you need to use the Android SDK version above 3.8.4 in order for your app to be served. Apps that have older SDK versions will not be served. 

Setting your existing app as COPPA

To set your existing app as COPPA, click on My Apps located on the left-hand menu:

Move your mouse to hover over the application you wish to edit. The application will be highlighted in gray, and a small menu will appear on the right-hand side. Click on the pen icon to edit your application.

 

You are now able to edit the App Name, App URL and COPPA. Just click on the COPPA checkbox and your app will be set as COPPA. Please note that you need to use the Android SDK version above 3.8.4 in order for your app to be served. Apps that have older SDK versions will not be served. 

 

After you have completed all the changes, click the checkmark icon on the right-hand side to update the changes. If you wish to cancel your edit, click the X icon.

  

Content and maturity filters

Please note that marking your app as COPPA will not apply a maturity or content filtering on your app, if you wish to set such filters, please contact support.
