Portal Security Process

Stronger security for your StartApp account with two-factor authentication.

There are many actions that may put you in risk and can lead to a stolen password (for example using the same password on more than one site).

Two-factor authentication can help keep hackers out, even if they have your password.

StartApp uses two-factor authentication for specific sections in which the information is highly sensitive (changing passwords, emails, and financial information.)

With  two-factor authentication, we  add an extra layer of security to your account.

The two step process will apply in the following sections:

  • Once the token is inserted and validated, it will apply for the next 24 hours, during this time you will be able to update details as mentioned above without the need for another token

Important Note

In case your account e-mail is no longer valid, you won’t be able to reset the password, therefore, it is recommended to make sure the registered e-mail is valid, and to update it before canceling an old e-mail.
